It’s easy to see when a couple is head over heels in love. You notice it in their smiles and in their embrace; and when it comes to photos – their love jumps right off the page! Madison and Carson are no different; excited about their future together and so much in love. Together for over five years, they are taking the next big step and met up with Gravidee Photography to capture this special time in their lives. You know we love it when a couple takes pride in their city and is able to show off its beauty in photographs. All the cool architecture and industrial scenery just add to the beauty of these photographs and sets the stage for where the rest of their story will unfold. Engagement Session: Arun & Neha, Chicago
Around here we love a good engagement story. In fact, sharing unique engagement sessions is one of our most favorite things. Every now and then we get a story that is truly unique, and in the case of Arun and Neha, we get to see that story unfold right before our eyes. Today’s Engagement Session shows us the proposal right as it was happening. In the midst of planning a getaway to Chicago with his future bride, Arun consulted with Willie Chandler Photography. His plan? To propose to Neha at a local bookstore and have his photog on-hand to document the entire thing. The beautiful images below show exactly how it all went down and the excitement in Neha’s face describes what a wonderful surprise it turned out to be. Congrats to the couple and kudos to Arun for having the foresight to plan and capture this moment in time, forever.

Engagement Session: Anna and Dave, Chicago
Our love affair with Chicago continues today with Anna and Dave’s lakeside engagement shoot. There’s nothing quite as romantic as photo session on the water, and here in the Midwest the Great Lakes provide an ocean like atmosphere, or at least as close as we can get to one! Anna and Dave are so cute together, and I love that they aren’t afraid to “get their feet wet” so to speak, even in their fancy attire. Beautiful pictures by Melissa Jordan Photography.
Engagement Session: Jennifer and Taylor, Arkansas
Jennifer and Taylor met on the campus of the University of Arkansas – so it’s only fitting that they would choose this symbolic location for their engagement shoot. The images, captured by Ashley and David Photography, showcase the couple at a favorite spot during one of their favorite times of year – Arkansas in the Fall. We love the simple backdrop of falling leaves paired with a crisp autumn day. And we love the idea of capturing the very place where they first met! It’s easy to see how excited Kelly and Ryan are about sharing their lives together. These super fun images by Karen Feder Photography are full of life, enthusiasm and energy! The couple, who brought along their adorable doggies for the session, can be seen all over their hometown of Minneapolis taking in the sights and having a blast together! We love when an engagement shoot highlights a couple so well, including all their favorite things. It definitely makes you feel like you know them personally and really shows you who they are together.
