When I first saw pictures of Stephanie and Benjamin's wedding I thought it was an inspiration shoot. These days I often hear that brides are tired of looking at over the top images that they could never re-create for their own day, but this couples event shows that with lots of planning a DIY event can be just as incredible as anything you'd find on Pinterest. Stephanie says they were inspired by their ceremony venue, Greencrest Manor, with it's beautiful Victorian feel. They decided on a secret garden theme to match the space, and get this, the gorgeous reception was held in her parents back yard. But don't just take my word for it, check out the loveliness for yourselves. Favorite detail? The sweetheart table created just for the couple, overflowing with flowers, wine, and champagne! Thank you so much to Stephanie and Benjamin for sharing their narrative, and to Pasha Belman Photography for the images! (click on the link at the end to see the full post with even more loveliness).
Ben and I first met through a mutual friend. We quickly became close and after three months he took me on our first date. He worked at a restaurant at the time and all his friends came to visit our table and even gave us a surprise dessert with "Marry Me" written in raspberry sauce. Little did we know we'd be engaged five years later! (We also went back to the same restaurant to hold our rehearsal dinner)
