I’m not sure where I came across Floret Flower Farm’s blog, but needless to say, I’m glad I did. Maybe it’s just the floral nerd in me, but every post leaves me saying “holy amazing”. Whether they’re about a harvest of anemones, a beautiful bouquet gathered from the field, a beautiful wedding arrangement, or the families latest chicken, Erin’s posts never fail to inspire (and make me want to move to my own farm and get to growing).
A little more about Floret, from their website:
Floret is a small cut flower farm offering organically grown plant material to flower lovers, designers and brides throughout the greater Seattle area. Located in Washington’s beautiful Skagit Valley, Floret specializes in growing unique, uncommon and old fashioned flower varieties gathered from around the world. Our gardens contain a generous selection of trees, rare shrubs, vines, bulbs, perennials, annuals and uncommon vegetables. Because all of our flowers are grown with the utmost care and love we do not use harsh chemicals on our farm. This approach gives our flowers a distinct difference: deeper more vibrant color, lasting beauty and the long forgotten fragrance of real flowers. Floret is dedicated to providing a healthy and beautiful alternative to traditional floristry. We are a little flower company with a big vision and we invite you to experience the difference.
Amazing, right?
