Hope that everyone had a spectacular St. Patricks Day. I know mine was filled with parade watching, Reuben eating, beer drinking, family and friends, and of course ridiculous green attire. Today’s flowers are DIY projects from two of my favorite wedding and design sources, and if you’re going to get married on, or around St.Patty’s, might as well inject a little bit of fun into your day. We’ve got one for the ladies:
Adorable shamrock bouquet courtesy of Martha Stewart Weddings. Four leaf clovers are tough to come by, so of course Martha makes her own luck by creating them from scratch. See the complete DIY tutorial here.
And then for the gentlemen:
Last year I feel in love with this clover badge created by Studio Choo (also an amazing source of floral design inspiration) and featured in Design Sponges “We Like it Wild” column. There’s another DIY tutorial for this one, find it right here. Plus the best thing about this one? It’s adaptable for any type of ribbon or flowers, so you can create a unique boutonniere for your wedding day.
